Market Depth

Market depth refers to the level of liquidity or the amount of buy and sell orders available for a particular cryptocurrency at various price levels. It shows how much trading activity is taking place around a specific coin, giving an indication of its popularity and potential price movements.

In a market depth chart, buy orders are displayed on one side and sell orders on the other. The depth of the market is depicted by the number of orders and the volume of cryptocurrency available at each price point. A deep market indicates a large number of orders at different price levels, suggesting a more liquid market with less chance of price manipulation.

Traders use market depth to analyze support and resistance levels, predict potential price movements, and make informed trading decisions. A cryptocurrency with a high market depth is generally considered more stable and trustworthy, as there is more trading activity and a reduced possibility of large price swings.
