Quasi-Fungible Token (QFT)

Quasi-Fungible Tokens (QFTs) are a type of digital asset on a blockchain that have qualities of both fungible and non-fungible tokens. Unlike traditional fungible tokens like cryptocurrencies, where each unit is identical and interchangeable, QFTs may have varying attributes or properties that differentiate them from one another.

While each QFT is unique, they can still be exchanged for one another on a one-to-one basis, similar to fungible tokens. However, due to their unique features, QFTs may have different values or uses within a particular ecosystem. This allows for a greater level of customization and flexibility in how these tokens can be utilized.

QFTs offer a novel approach to tokenization by combining the characteristics of both fungible and non-fungible tokens. This hybrid model opens up new possibilities for creating digital assets that are both interoperable and distinct, offering a more versatile option for tokenization in various applications within the blockchain space.
